Happy Birthday To My Husband.....

Today we celebrated a beautiful life whose impact on this family is unsurpassed. A man whose heart was changed by God which led to him to give his life to Jesus Christ when he was

21 yrs. old....who now leads His family with love, humility and strength by the grace of God.

He loves our children with a fierce love and strives daily to direct their precious little hearts to God. We have 4 little lovies who adore their Daddy....each having their own special relationship with him.

Jared and I have been together for more than half of our lives....and there isn't a day that goes by that I do not thank our Good Lord for blessing me with my husband. To be loved the way my husband loves me is not something that I will ever take for granted.....and I pray that each day I am able to show the depth of the love that I have for him.

Happy Birthday Jared...

all of your lovies are blessed to call you Daddy and I am blessed to call you my husband.

Happy Birthday Lauren.....

A few years ago God blessed our family with a beautiful baby girl. And today that baby girl turned 3. This is a post to my daughter, who I love more than words could ever express.

I will never forget the moment that I laid eyes on you....being in complete awe that I was a mama to a little girl. God is using you in so many beautiful ways, moving my heart daily....I love watching you grow and I cherish the bond that you and I share.

.....you love pink....alot

.....you play with your babies everyday

.....you have a shoe fetish

.....you love to sing

.....you like to chew gum

.....you give each of your brothers a kiss every night...and they love it

.....you get excited when we get together with other little girls

.....you love to fold laundry

.....you are very nurturing

.....you pray more than any other one of our lovies

.....you can be emotional

.....you tell me that I'm pretty all of the time

.....you gave up your nucky today...finally (no more pacifier at bedtime)

.....you cut the tip off of your nucky and threw it in the garbage

.....you cried hard....and I cried with you

.....you like to have your nails painted...pink of course

.....you love love love to be read to...and I love love love to read to you

.....you often end up in bed between Daddy and I

.....you enjoy going to Sunday School and church

.....you named one of your baby dolls "Noah"

.....you ask to "do school" like your big brothers

.....you are very loving and affectionate

.....you love to help me in the kitchen

.....you like to pick out your clothes and prefer little help with getting dressed

.....you have a wonderful imagination

.....you usually cry when I brush your hair

.....you want a baby sister

.....you love to play outside

.....you are quite a talker....always telling stories

.....your laugh is sweet

.....you love to be tickled

.....you love to talk on the phone

.....you love looking at photos....just like your mama

.....you are still a Daddy's girl

.....you always used to reply to "I love you" with "I love you too much"

.....you and Luke have a special bond...only being 15mos. apart

.....you often sit and pretend like you are reading a book

.....you still wear a bow or some kind of clip in your hair every day....we call it a "hair pretty"

.....you know what foods are healthy and which are not

.....you would never know you had two broken legs less than six months ago

.....you love Jesus

.....you run to the door every day when your Daddy comes home from work

.....you are a hugger and a snuggler...I love it!

.....you like to dance

.....you love it when Nate chases you

.....you love babies, always wanting to hold one that is near...you even still try to hold Luke!

.....you love to draw and are proud of your art

Lauren....you are loved more than you know. Not only from a family who adores you, but from a Heavenly Father who cares for you more deeply than any of us even realize. God has used you to strengthen my faith in many ways. Thank you for all of the times that you hold my hand and ask to pray with me.....in those moments it is hard to remember that you are only three.....I often well up with tears because of how you talk to God. Daddy and I are so thankful for you and we pray for you everyday sweet girl.

Happy Birthday Noah......

Eight years ago on this very day, God graciously blessed us with our first born, Noah Robert. We celebrated his life today, and I wanted to dedicate this post to my oldest little lovie.

.....you have been counting down the days to your 8th birthday for quite some time now

.....you give the best hugs

.....your breakfast of choice is peanut butter and cinnamon sugar toast

.....you would much rather climb a tree than do math

.....you drink mass quantities of milk every day

.....you try to make up annoying sounding laughs and pick one to use for the day

.....every time I turn around you are going through a growth spurt

.....you are totally into legos and are quite talented and creative, Nate is your lego buddy

.....you are such an enormous help with the little ones

.....you love to ride your bike and have been riding without training wheels since age 41/2

.....your favorite ice cream is peanut butter panic

.....you are never at a loss for words and you love to talk on the phone

..you are a member of "The Dangerous Boys Club" and really look forward to going each week

.....you absolutely love spending time with your cousins during our visits back in PA

.....you are excited to pick out a hamster tomorrow

.....you make the best sound effects when you play with your action figures

.....you still love to snuggle

.....you melt my heart when I see you read to Lauren and Luke

.....you have awesome hair

.....you read your Bible every morning

.....you have treated our family to ice cream, and graciously paid using your own money

.....you make your bed every morning

.....your favorite pieces of clothing are your muscle shirts

.....you are always trying to convince Daddy and I to let you stay up late

.....you have a great sense of humor and are always making us laugh

.....you like to lay and read in your bed at night

.....you love to get together with our friends

.....you sometimes call Lauren "sweetheart"

.....you love to play music and dance with Luke

.....you love to write stories, and I love to read them

.....you love to do anything that your Daddy is doing

.....you love to wrestle

.....you have a heart for God, we can see your faith growing. Daddy and I feel so blessed to have you for our son. We are always telling you what a big responsibility it is in being the oldest child, and we know that God chose you to set an example for your younger brothers and sister. I hope that some day Nate, Lauren and Luke will realize what an amazing privilege it is to have you for a brother.

Happy Birthday Nate.....

Six years ago today, God blessed us with our second son, Nathan John. This post is dedicated to one of my most favorite people in my life.

.....when you woke up this morning, you expected to be taller

.....you also thought that your front teeth would be loose

.....you are constantly making me smile

.....you are the only one of my lovies who has freckles

.....you eat peanut butter Capt'n Crunch every morning for breakfast

.....you are usually the first lovie up in the morning

.....you are addicted to building lego houses

.....you get so excited when your Daddy comes home from work

.....you love to wrestle with Noah

.....you have made so many friends since we have moved to Indiana

.....you love it when someone chases you

.....you like to jump off of your swing like Noah (which makes me nervous)

.....you are emotional...just like your mama

.....you tell me that you love me more than anyone else

.....you still love to cuddle

.....you play your V-reader every day

.....you are very good with computers

.....you can't wait to plant a garden

.....you love to ride your bike

.....your favorite color is green

.....you and Lauren play cars and blocks together

.....you think the music at church is too loud....but you like the songs

..... our family's homemade strawberry jam is the only jam you will eat

.....you have never eaten a hot dog or hamburger in your life

.....you kiss Luke at least 400 times a day

.....you are a chocolate lover

.....you get so excited every time we go back to PA to visit family

.....you love our daily reading time

.....you get annoyed when Noah whistles around you

.....you are a very visual person

.....your laugh is one of the most wonderful sounds

.....you love to swim

.....you no longer have a phobia of dogs

.....you have a sweet sense of humor and are a literal thinker

.....you are the most ticklish person I know, as well as the only person who can tickle himself

.....you have taught me more than I could have ever imagined

.....you are an intense and beautiful soul.....and I am truly honored and blessed to have the privilege of calling you my son. By God's grace your Daddy and I hope to succeed in the immense responsibility of raising you up to be a godly man.

My Baby Luke Turns One Today....

Exactly one year ago today, God blessed Jared and I with lovie number four. Three excited siblings welcomed Luke William into this world with hugs and kisses and still haven't stopped smothering him with love.....I have a feeling this little guy will never lack for affection.

I wanted to take this time to write a few things to my baby.....

(...deep breath...)

.....You made me smile the moment you were laid on my chest.... and I am still smiling

.....You and I are rarely apart

.....You still like to make your adorable snoot

.....You eat mass quantities of blueberries everyday

.....You are a great napper...thank you

.....You are our earliest talker...saying lots of words already

(Of course my favorite word to hear you say is "Mama")

.....You love love love to be outside

.....You like to zoom your matchbox cars around on the floor...just like your big brothers

.....You like to hold baby dolls and pat their backs...just like your big sister

.....You still cry every time I leave the room

.....You loved to be chased...you giggle so hard that you fall down

.....You love to play in the water

.....You are going through a hitting phase right now

(and you think you're hilarious)

.....You fall asleep in my arms every night

(and I have absolutely no plans for that to change any time soon)

.....You already like to wrestle with your Daddy

.....You love music and you love to dance

.....You are still nursing and have never had a bottle ever

.....You are very ticklish and have the sweetest sounding giggle

.....You are into everything all of the time

.....You sleep with a nucki and a little bear blanky

.....You are just now starting to enjoy being read to

.....You have beautiful blue eyes and are so observant

.....You sometimes act shy when someone new talks to you

.....You call your big brother Noah..."Wowa"

(and his heart melts every time)

.....You never wore a pair of shoes until you were 10 mos. old

.....You love to brush your teeth, and you stand really still and let me help

.....You LOVE ice cream

(which is not surprising since you are related to my mother)

.....You fold your chubby hands when we pray together as a family

.....You love chocolate...just like Mama

.....You have brought us so much joy and we feel completely blessed by God to have you in our lives. I love being your Mama and I love you so much.....my sweet baby Luke.
